Great Oakley Cricket Club

A community-focused cricket club fielding teams of all ages in competitive and friendly competition

A unique attraction within Great Oakley is the cricket club which was founded in 1873 and is situated on Lewin Road – within the Great Oakley Estate.

The club fields 1st’s 2nd’s and 3rd XI senior teams on a Saturday in the Northamptonshire County League and have Midweek XI on a Wednesday evening

Plus a fantastic Youth section with two U11’s two U13’s, U15’s and U17’s teams made up from kids from the local area.

For 2025 the club also has it’s first Woman’s Team.

The club is solely run by volunteers.

The bar is open 52 weeks a year with regular events and fundraising.
